At Aviation Instrument Service we ensure all instruments that enter the workshop, leave the workshop looking brand new. We repaint the instruments and we will also repair or replace the face decal if required.
The decal may have been damaged for several reasons, from fluid leaking into the case, mishandling of the instrument, or from just wear and tear over time. We can have any decal from any instrument fabricated to the exact measurement and markings.
We replace the original decal making an instrument look its best.
An instrument decal can also be modified in accordance with the manufacturer specifications. If an instrument line markings are incorrect for the application, for example, we can modify the original decal to replicate an original finish.
